New stable runner, Hezacruiser, boxed on in heavy conditions at Wangaratta to win the Gordon Gibson Nominees Maiden Plate over 1400 metres.
In his second start for the stables, Hezacruiser showed determination on a heavy 8 track to beat Blaylock by half a length. Bred by local businessman, David Comans, and raced by David and a group of his friends, the Promontory Gold gelding out of Snaadee mare, Eedaans, will step up to 1600 metres next start.
