The Alicia Macpherson trained, Onamissionfromgod, made it back-to-back Kilmore wins on his home track at Kilmore Racing Club's successful Christmas Beach Party gallops meeting on Sunday.
The five-year-old gelded son of God's Own and Carbonated went to the lead at the winning post the first time in the 2112 metre Jimba Lamb 0-62 Handicap and was never headed.
Ridden by the Wodonga based Nick Souquet, the ultra consistent gelding defeated Cheerful Jury by 1 1/4 lengths with Tidal Command a similar margin away, third.
"He just loves his home track. Unfortunately there is no suitable race for him at the next Kilmore meeting", Alicia said. "We'll just keep him going in distance races, he's doing so well, " she said.
Part-owned by the trainer's father, Clive Macpherson, and her sister, Emily Rae, and a number of Minstral Park stable clients, Onamissionfromgod has now won four races with 10 minor placings from 28 starts, earning in excess of $70,000, with his past five Kilmore starts resulting in two wins, two seconds and a fourth placing.
