Stacey Rawiller, Apprentice Jockey

Our apprentice jockey, Stacey, is a fantastic member of our stable and her enthusiasm and love of racing is inspiring.  Here's a bit about Stacey in her own words:

"I'm 21 years old and was born into a racing family. My father, Keith, was a jockey/jumps jockey and I have 3 brothers; Nash, who is a jockey and stable rider for Gai Waterhouse,  Todd who rode in races for 18 months and is now a trainer and Brad who is a top Melbourne jockey.  I began my apprenticeship with Todd and he taught me how to ride racehorses.

I have ridden close to 40 winners and I claim 2kg on provincial tracks.

I have always wanted to be a jockey, even though my family encouraged me to stay at school.  I'm now living my dream......I'm riding in races and I love working for Alicia.  It's a close-knit family environment where we all work together as a team, and I love going to work everyday."

Clive Macpherson, Racing Administrator & Farm Manager

Clive is a most valued member of the team - he looks after our owners, sorts out the paperwork, drives the truck and manages the stables and the farm.

Phil Macpherson, Accounts Manager

As well as running our office, Phil is a great hands on support who works tirelessly around the stables and helps Alicia with the horses on raceday.

Emily Rae, Trackrider

Emily is Alicia's sister who provides her skills in trackriding.

Carlie Macpherson, Stablehand and Trackrider

Carlie is also Alicia's sister, a valued stablehand and trackwork rider.

Stacey Rigby, Stablehand / Trackrider

Stacey is the newest member of our team and does a great job looking after the horses.  Not only is she helping out at the track and at the farm but she has recently started to ride trackwork.

Louise Macpherson, Stablehand & General Helper

Louise is Alicia's youngest sister and when she's not helping out around the stables, she looks after Alicia's young family every morning while she's at trackwork.
