Morethanafeeling - The North Central Review 5/5/09

District jockey Jason Baldock gave a victory wave to his late Mum as he passed the post on the Alicia Macpherson trained and appropriately named Morethanafeeling at Wodonga on Saturday.

Morethanafeeling, a gelded son of More Than Ready and Private Session, was a comfortable winner of the 3YO Maiden Plate (1400m) starting at $12.

Passed in at the Adelaide yearling sales, Macpherson purchased the colt later for $50,000.

Macpherson races the gelding for herself, Kilmore businessman Andrew Mallia, and a number of stable clients.

"I put blinkers on him for the first time. I think that helped" Alicia said.
